ISRAEL-INDONESIA FUTURES PROGRAM
PROGRAM CONTENT
The 2025 program comprises the following key components:
SEMINARS
Participants meet and learn from Israeli and Indonesian leaders, inspirational speakers and thought-leaders in business, government, innovation, technology, media and the public sector. Weekly online interactive seminars on the 2025 program will encompass:
- Israel & Indonesia in context: Israel’s and Indonesia’s economies, cultures, politics, industry & market insights, investment, start-up and innovation ecosystems, key issues in the news and public discourse.
- Israel-Indonesia trade and economic relations
- Understanding key challenges facing Indonesia and Israel and exploring potential for co-innovation and partnership-building.
Specialist briefings and peer-learning will equip participants with a deep understanding of Israel and Indonesia, synergies between the two countries and the current and future potential of this relationship, as well as a network of high-level contacts from both countries.
WORKSHOPS
Dynamic online, interactive workshops equip participants with skills and know-how in:
- Israeli and Indonesian society & culture
- Israeli and Indonesian networking & stakeholder engagement
- Effective cross-cultural team-building
- Project planning
- Elevator pitching
TEAM PROJECTS
The 2025 program will enable participants to develop team projects to strengthen Israel-Indonesia relations.
The team projects component of the program plays an essential role in building trust and long-term working relationships between program participants.
Participants on the program will be grouped into teams of 4 people (2 Israelis and 2 Indonesians), according to areas of interest and the kind of projects they wish to develop.
Program participants will select their team-mates within the first three weeks of the program, as part of the orientation process. Each team will determine a project of their choosing.
Projects may fall into one of the following categories:
- Culture
- Media
- Education
- Business
- Technology
- Policy
Examples of projects may include, but are not limited to:
- Events (webinars, briefings, closed roundtable discussions)
- Online platforms or media initiatives
- Published research, articles or position papers
- Business initiatives
- Publication of Israeli books into Indonesian or Indonesian books into Hebrew
- Exchange programs & training initiatives
- Cooperation on social impact initiatives
Projects should be fully or partly developed by the end of the program.
Teams will present the projects they have developed at the end of the program, at a closed-session final event comprising speakers, partners and advisors to the program from Israel and Indonesia.

MENTORS
Teams may choose to be assigned high-level mentors Israel and Indonesia – to guide them through the process of develop a project. Our mentors include high-profile tech entrepreneurs, industry leaders, venture capitalists, impact investors, heads of innovation hubs and incubators from both Israel and Indonesia.
POST-PROGRAM ENGAGEMENT
Following the program, program alumni continue to benefit from:

- Access to alumni events and programming.
- Ongoing guidance and mentorship.
- Eligibility to participate in Israel-Indonesia delegations following the program.
