Nishant is a participant in the NUS Enterprise program in Israel run by National University of Singapore.
As part of the program, Nishant is interning at Sol Chip, an Israeli cutting-edge fabless semiconductor company developing a cost-effective, compact solar battery technology that integrates solar energy with low power electronic devices. Inspired by the vision of powering Indian farms with clean, sustainable solar energy and maximizing the outputs, Nishant developed interests in solar energy and engineering design at university, where he is studying for his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering. He also developed an engineering design project to build a solar fruit dehydrator. In 2012 Nishant worked as a technical intern at Mauser Singapore, a global industrial packaging technology company.
