Li Xia Alicia Teo

Alicia is a B.A. candidate in Business Management in Finance Analytics and Technology for Business at Singapore Management University. There she received Ruth Chiang’s Outstanding Intern of the Year Award in 2018. She also attended Peking University as an exchange student.

While at Singapore Management University, Alicia wrote an in-depth article on the Israeli innovation landscape which was published in her university’s bi-annual magazine and blog to encourage more students to embark on such learning trips to Israel.

Alicia has interned as a number tech start-ups – in Beijing, Tel Aviv, Singapore, Hanoi, Manila and Amsterdam. These include Analyst Intern at 36Kr in Beijing, Product Marketing Intern at Cooldata in Tel Aviv, Data Analystics Intern at Logivan Technologies in Hanoi, Marchant Operations Analyst Intern at Visenze in Singapore, Customer Success Intern at Kilibrr Technology ventures in Manila and Research Intern at On Purpose ventures in Amsterdam.

While in Israel, Alicia is keen to facilitate greater collaboration between Singaporean, Chinese and Israeli start-ups, and help Israeli companies access Southeast Asian markets via Singapore.

Alicia served as a Naval Officer Cadet during her national service in Singapore’s Navy, 2015-2016. Outside of her work and studies, Alicia enjoys singing, meditation and hiking.
