Anirudh Keny

India


Anirudh Keny has a background in mechanical engineering and renewable energy. Up until recently, Anirudh was a service engineer at Vacman Environmental Solutions Pvt Ltd where he helped the firm establish their first manufacturing plant. Anirudh also represented his firm at the Defense Expo 2018 in Mahabalipuram where he built strategic relations with clients.

Prior to joining Vacman, Anirudh spent a year and a half working for Accenture PLC as an assistant software engineer. During his undergraduate years at VIT University, Anirudh participated in several internships where he analyzed climate data and waste-to-energy technologies. His passion for renewable energy allowed him to explore various research opportunities, including designing a low-cost model of a Sterling Engine, a prototype of a hydrogen-on-demand production kit, and a hybrid solar air heater.

While in Israel, Anirudh will be pursuing a Masters in Environmental Studies at the Porter School for Environmental Studies at Tel Aviv University. Having lived in various states in India, Anirudh understands how each region faces different agricultural issues. He hopes to apply the knowledge that he will learn in Israel and introduce modern farming techniques specific to regional environmental difficulties.
