Cynthia Yu Zhang

Yu (Cynthia) Zhang has worked in the business development and sales team at Daimler Trucks and Buses China Ltd. where she was the youngest member of the “Flying Tiger” project for exceptional employees. Following this, she briefly worked on a project for the Israel Chamber of Commerce in Beijing.

She is an MBA candidate on the Sofaer IMBA Program at Tel Aviv University.

Cynthia is a graduate of Renmin University of China, majoring in Law and International Politics and decided to study in Israel after a 2014 visit in which she was exposed to Jewish history, customs and traditions.

During the fellowship Cynthia is exploring ways to connect Chinese investors to Israel’s innovation ecosystem.

Cynthia is fluent in English and proficient in Hebrew and Spanish.
