Dr. Amit Mukherjee

Amit is a post-doctoral fellow at the National Security Studies Center at Haifa University specializing in Israel-India strategic relations. In India, he has worked as a Liaison Officer for the Department of Defense & Strategic Studies, University of Pune, where he coordinated workshops for various academic courses and training programs. In addition to his academic focus on defense and diplomacy, Amit has a diploma in programming and advanced software technology. He holds a Ph.D. in the Application of GIS for India’s Defence, from the University of Pune.
During his time in Israel, Amit is focusing on identifying key Israeli technologies to optimize the efficiency of India’s resource management in civilian areas as well as homeland security.
