Effy is a partner at Israeli VC, Timna Ventures, focusing on fintech, consumer web, IoT, cybersecurity, blockchain and AI.
She has a B.A. in International Economics and Trade from Nanjing Audit University and will this year be pursuing an MBA at Tel Aviv University.
With a strong interest in semiconductors, blockchain and the VC world, Yang brings with her an impressive background working between 2017-19 as Investment Manager at Bitmain Technologies Inc. where she successfully closed numerous business contracts and developing cooperation between academic and industrial partners.
Prior to that, Yang served as General Manager Assistant at Han Dian Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd, where she analyzed regional selling, participated in producing and developing sourcing forecasts and strategies as well as conducting negotiations to ensure product requirements. Between 2014-16, Yang worked as an Investment Analyst at China National Petroleum Co.
In her spare time, Effy enjoys travel and organizing travel experiences for friends and groups. She also enjoys going to the gym and cooking.
