Sanket Joshi has a professional background in government and public relations.
Sanket worked in the Chief Minister’s office for the Government of Maharashtra. As a fellow for the Chief Minister, Sanket analyzed reports and conducted research regarding the economic needs of the state. Sanket also created the “Digidhan Awareness Programme”, which aimed at boosting digital transactions in Maharashtra.
Sanket’s interests in the India-Israel relationship grew after he organized an event on water, where he explored Israeli innovation in water security.
Prior to his fellowship at the Chief Minister’s office, Sanket worked as a strategist at Aspire PR & Strategies, where he conducted research on international relations, education and public finance in order to formulate public relations strategies.
Sanket aspires to be an Indian diplomat, developing his expertise on geopolitics in the Middle East. During his time in Israel, Sanket will pursue his M.A. in Security & Diplomacy Studies at Tel Aviv University. Sanket holds a B.A. in Political Science & International Relations from Fergusson College, University of Pune, as well as a M.A. in Journalism & Mass Communication from the University of Pune.
