Yuan Ava Xue

Ava is a passionate learner and entrepreneur. Following a B.Sc. in Management Information Systems from the University of Connecticut and an M.Sc. in Biochemistry, Nutrition and Food Sciences at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Ava is now pursuing her Ph.D. in computational chemistry at Bar-Ilan University in Israel.

Ava is co-founder and project director at China-Israel Innovation Exchange Center, where she is dedicated to strengthening ties between Israeli high-tech companies and Chinese corporations, as well as research institutes in both countries.

Meanwhile, Ava is also the Israel representative for Chinese VC fund, ChicagoFrogx. Prior to that, she held a number of positions for companies and start-ups in a range of sectors, including blockchain, e-commerce, marketing and consulting in the United States and Israel.

Ava loves classical music and performs as a solo pianist. She also enjoys singing, reading, puzzle-solving, hiking, traveling, running half-marathons and CrossFit training.
