ISRAEL-INDONESIA ENERGY FORUM

ISRAEL-INDONESIA ENERGY FORUM

A team of Israeli and Indonesian leaders from the energy sector on the Israel-Asia Center’s 2025 Israel-Indonesia Futures have established an Israel-Indonesia Energy Forum.

Thirty leaders from Israel’s and Indonesia’s traditional and clean energy sectors convened for a half-day online event in April, to learn about the energy ecosystems of each country and the potential for cooperation.

Speakers from both countries presented on Israel’s and Indonesia’s general energy markets, oil & gas industries, geothermal energy, as well as energy innovation.

The event has led to a closed online networking group for industry leaders to explore partnership opportunities.

The Israel-Indonesia Energy Forum plan to expand this into a vibrant community and a hub for knowledge share and business opportunities.

They are currently planning additional events that will showcase Israeli energy tech and the two countries’ energy ecosystems, highlighting challenges that can be tackled together, and specific partnership opportunities.

Israel-Indonesia Futures is an annual 4-month online program bringing together emerging and established leaders from Israel and Indonesia for joint learning and high-level partnership-building – paving the way towards people-to-people relations in the absence of diplomatic ties.
