Ariel Beery advises government officials and foundation executives on how to best support mission-driven innovation, and has lectured broadly on social entrepreneurship, its opportunities and challenges.
Dedicated to solving problems facing humanity with sustainable and scalable solutions, Ariel has founded and led ventures on every side of the innovation ecosystem.
As the founder and CEO of the PresenTense Group (founded 2005), Ariel built a global accelerator franchise for social ventures that has launched over 1500 social businesses in over a dozen cities.
As the co-founder and CEO of MobileODT (founded 2012), Ariel built a mission-driven, VC-backed medical technology company to address women’s health challenges across low-resource settings that scaled to sales in 42 countries before being acquired.
As the co-founder and General Partner of CoVelocity (founded 2020), Ariel built a profitable commercialization cooperative dedicated to new product introduction for medical technology companies into emerging markets.
He teaches university courses on social entrepreneurship, leads workshops and panels on the intersection of technology and society around the world, and is a devoted fan of science fiction to keep his eyes on the future.
He is the proud father of three, and holds a B.A in Economics and Political Science from Columbia University, a MPA (Masters in Public Administration) from New York University (NYU) in Management, and an MA from NYU in Jewish Studies.
