Howe Wang
In February 2012, the Israel-Asia Center held a Chinese New Year Dinner. The event featured guest speaker, Howe Wang - a fellow on the 2011-12 Israel-Asia Leaders Fellowship, who spoke on 'Twenty Years of Sino-Israeli Relations: A New Era of Israeli Technological Engagement'.
In recognition of 20 years of diplomatic relations, 2011-12 Israel-Asia Leaders Fellow, Dr. Vasudheva Reddy Akepati, coordinated a panel discussion as part of his fellowship project entitled 'Destination India'. The event, which was held on January 25, 2012, was co-sponsored by the Israel-Asia Center and the Sofaer International MBA program at Tel Aviv University.
Korean Ambassador to Israel, Ma Young-sam
On August 1, 2011, the Israel-Asia Center held an event, 'Israel-Korea relations: Cultural similarities, common challenges, and the North Korean/Iranian threat', featuring guest speaker Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the State of Israel, His Excellency Ma Young-sam. The event was coordinated in cooperation with AJC and AJC ACCESS.
A night of ethnic food, cocktails and cultural performances from the Jewish and Korean communities in New York.
Via discussion with top academics, professionals, and public servants What’s Next for the Multinational Corporation explored the new reality facing established multinationals, the future of emerging markets’ game changing multinationals, and visions of the world’s new economic order.
The event was coordinated by the Recanati School of Business and co-sponsored by the Israel-Asia Center.
